Tangled Up In Blue Productions.

Tangled Up In Blue was founded in 2001 by Janice Brabaw as an independent film production company.  After the filming of Brabaw's first film, The Space Between, TUIB was placed on the backburner until 2008 when the company was re-established as an independent book publisher and literary event planning and promotion company.   Tangled Up In Blue released Brabaw's first book, Universe, Disturbed, in the fall of 2008 followed by The Best of Stain Anthology Volumes 1 & 2.  Also published in 2009, was Brabaw's second collection of poetry, Tongue For Folie.

PR & Management Services Available for Artists & Performers

Janice has worked in the television and film industry for eight years.  During that time she dabbled in post production (Dog the Bounty Hunter), reality show production coordinating (America's Funniest Mom, Hidden Potential), public relations/Satellite Media Tours (at PLus Media), and even spent some time at Grey Advertising as a production coordinator and producer of in-house pharmacudical videos and national ad campaigns.   Most recently, Janice has focused on production finance and accounting as an IATSE 161 payroll accountant.   Credits include the movies Hatteras Hotel, Cadillac Records, and Family and the tv shows Cashmere Mafia, Stylista, and Without A Trace.   Janice also spent several years working independent film and produced several indie features and shorts.

With the newest incantation of TUIB, Janice utilizes her production and public relations skills to not only promote her own work but also of other artists and performers.  Besides creating and running two wildly successful reading and music series (An Echo, A Stain and Stained Glass Confessional) Janice has also curated events in the Boston area, at and around St.Lawrence University in Canton, NY, and at several famous NYC venues including The Cake Shop, The Creek and the Cave, Otto's Shrunken Head, Redd's Tavern, Ozzie's Coffee, and the Bowery Poetry Club.   Janice and her events have been featured in The Gouverneur Tribune, The Gloucester Times, The Watertown Daily Times, North Country This Week, The Greenpoint Greenline, The Brooklyn Eagle, AM-NY, Time Out, New York, and the NY Daily News.

Janice's services are available for:

- Event planning (both one-off events, book/reading tours, and booking featured reader slots in established series)
- Event promotion (posters, flyers, press releases, blog and online bulletin board postings, promotional products, interviews, etc.)
- Artist and Performer Management
